Highly intuitive children experience love on a deep level. They feel the energy behind words, sense unspoken emotions, and often carry a profound awareness of connection and belonging. Because of this, they may also be more sensitive to moments when they feel unseen or misunderstood.
With Valentine’s Day approaching, let’s shift the focus from external gestures to teaching our children how to experience love in a way that nourishes their souls. Here are three simple but powerful ways to help your child feel deeply loved and supported:
Ways #1 - Create a “Love Jar” Together
Encourage your child to decorate a small jar and fill it with affirmations, kind words, or moments of gratitude. Read one each day together to reinforce the idea that love is always present.
Way #2 - Teach the Language of Love & Energy
Help your child recognize how love feels beyond just words. Ask: “Where do you feel love in your body?” or “What does love feel like to you?” This builds self-awareness and trust in their intuition.
Way #3 - Mirror Their Inner Light
When your child feels deeply understood, they thrive. Take a moment each day to reflect back their strengths: “I love how kind you are to your friends,” or “I see how much you care, and that is beautiful.”
The more we show up with love, the more our children learn that love isn’t just something they receive—it’s something they carry within them.
Affirmation for Parents - "I see, hear, and honor my child's unique light. Through my love and presence, I nurture their spirit and help them embrace the beauty of who they are."
May your child always feel seen, heard, and deeply loved.
I wish you and your family a Happy Valentine's Day filled with connection, kindness, and love.
