Ways to Help a Highly Intuitive Child

Ask for help not because you're weak, but because you want to remain strong.

- Les Brown

Ways You Can Help

  • Be open to hearing about the child's intuitive experiences without pathologizing the child.

  • You do not have to share the trait but see and respect the child for who they are and not fault them for their intuitive outlook on life.

  • Let the child have a voice in your connection. Ask if they feel comfortable working with you so they will open up fully and share their experiences.

  • If you do not have this trait, consult with or give a referral to a therapist who does. This will help the parent and child get an accurate assessment and diagnosis.
